i have recently acquired a gear box, im not sure what it is out of, the part number on the extension housing is 83da-7b001-ba, im guessin by the 83da part it is early, like xd xe xf, it also has a big number 5 on the side of the g/box casing, so again im guessin its a 5 speed, can anyone help me identify it better so i can re sell it, or if anyone is after a gearbox like this one let me know. thanx.

Pictures please......may be a light duty 5sp....heavy duty wasn't available till the XF...same as the EA box....with the 3.5:1 first gear.
I think I remember something about those light 5sp boxes only being available behind a 200 ( 3.3) donk too.

looking at the pics..its definatly not an ed box..lol its the early 5 speed(light duty) from xe falcon? screw in shift like single rail..
its definatly from a x flow as the starter is on the oposite side to the e series.. |
