hey wats the widest tyre i can go on a 18x9 rim and will i have any issues with scrubbing when the car is lowered

On my EF I have 18x9's on the rear with 265's. Its also got superlows all round. I have problems with the outer edge of the tyres rubbing on the guards when I have 2 passengers in the rear seats. Ill just get the guards rolled and it will be fine.
