Simple question I think

For doing this would I only need the diff Centre or the whole rear?

Sorry if this is noobish but I've built a T engine to go in and I don't feel like being a 500hp one wheel warrior... I don't know a whole lot about driveline so I figured There's no harm in asking in case someone did
