No I dont see any issue with the manifold at all actually, better than previous design by a lot - IMHO

Interesting. They are plastic are they not? I guess on an unopened engine that it would be fine with the amount of boost it could run?

Cheers

Plastic is good for manifold material - is very good

We boost other brands of engines which have plastic manifolds - very successful too.

They have fantastic thermal properties in addition to many other attributes

Hi Upinder

Still not completed, the car (FG with Raptor) is currently sitting on showroom floor at local Ford Dealer as part of some sort of promotion.

We should see it back next week and will get it done after that

Getting there, getting there, soon someone will be the lucky number one to have a supercharged FG 6 in Australia

James, not as yet, definitely should have finished it a while ago now, been too busy on other stuff. Need to get an intercooled kit sorted ASAP as our competitor certainly has theirs happening - albeit a lot more expensive

Nice work. Do you see the factory inlet manifold being much of a restriction?

Wouldn't you be more worried about it not being strong enough to deal with boost all the time.
Ford don't use it with boost.

have you, or anyone else you know of, pressure tested it? from what have read (not very reliable forum chit chat) they will only handle a bit over 10psi...

Will be testing it in the 9-10psi range starting in a couple weeks time and continue test all year on dedicated FG 6 drag car. Will let you know if manifold fails
