Hi there folks. Long time reader, first time contributor.

Still learning how to navigate my way around and contribute etc. but giving it a go anyhow.
After having a bit of a read in some of the forums here I have come to a conclusion that there is something very abnormal with my BA Falcon........there's NOTHING wrong with it!

Be afraid? Be very afraid? Not sure, because 2 years of happy motoring and I'm not afraid. :D

The reason you are having no issues with a BA is because it knows if you have to raise a finger to work on it you will most likely break a nail and working on a car will cut into your time at the hair dressers.
BRUNO!

ba's are a great car, i prefer them more than bf or ba mk2, my xr6 i brought offa church has had no issue ever, mostly due to it alway being babied, and a church owning it from new.

i also have a ba xr6 sleeping-giant that i smash any bombadore at any chance... for the thing that have gone wrone it is really a small price to pay for some of monies people spend on keeping cars on the road...

if its a lemon, not much you can do but squeeze it for all its worth. if its a gem, keep a hold of it as it will serve you well when it counts.

I haven't posted much on here coz things don't happen around me at a great rate of knots. Hence, that is why I drive a car I affectionately call the "Extreme Turtle"!

Since I was last here spruiking the values of my reliable XT I have made a couple of (in this cars life) monumental upgrades.

After a fantastic day at the drags with a few fellow members I had to replace my Federal RSR's. For some reason they were worn down and no longer road legal (still good for track work!) The Turtle now strolls around on a set of HiFly's. For the price I am quietly impressed with them.

The latest alteration/upgrade is the best! Thanks to good mate and fellow FordMod member EVL098 who helped me install a set of crossdrilled and slotted brake discs, both front and back. Stunning! I've never experienced anything like it!
Yeah, yeah. I know to some of you it's old hat. But for me, I've never had anything like it....on the road at least.

Thanks again EVL098.

Using this entry to learn how to post photos in a thread.

I went camping over the Easter weekend at a mates property out west. Great spot for photos.

Went for a random cruise up to Katoomba with what turned out to be a large bunch of the crew.
First stop was the Three Sisters,

Then we trundled down to the Hawksbury Heights Lookout for a look at the pretty city lights.

From there everyone travelled to Penriff Panfers to have a whack at Aqua Golf. Much ball slapping happened, and everyone enjoyed themselves!

The call was made to have a latenight coffee and doughnut. The idea was good but the execution was terrible as Krispy Kreme (the original/first to be opened in Australia) was devoid of doughnuts! TRAVESTY!
So we settled for the pleasure of being overcharged by ammature hour at Maccas.

As far as the Turtle was concerned: ran like a champion, stepped over speed bumps and through ditches head on like a family car should. As much as I've looked at/ been jealous of ssl sprung cars, there are the odd moments where being on stilettos can be an advantage!
