That sounds right, the 75 series diffs are 25 spline, whereas the later 78 series ones are 28 spline so that's why.

Ebay is your friend :P

{DESCRIPTION}

This guy seems to have stacks of diff gears, all different ratio's. These ones listed are 4.11's but it says he has 3.7's. Just make sure you tell him you want 3.7's to suit a 78 series b/w diff if you ask about them :wink:

talked to the guy on ebay 380bucks for new diff gears 3.7's

seems good altho now i have 5grand to spend or there abouts

very very unsure if i turbo my car or get a big old v8

what ever gives me the best 0-100 is what i want
thinking small turbo spool up fast should be able to get me some power fast

You'll probly get a v8 convo done for that money but your 6 will still be quicker. Double your 5k if your thinking turbo and want it to last.

my tuner says 5k is enough for a completly safe turbo kit altho he said with my headwork done the engine wont last aslong as it would with standard comp

and i dident mean a v8 conversion i ment a (xa-xe) 351 whole car

altho a 351 in my car wouldent be to bad either

mm im starting to think i might scrap the ba xr6t engine conversion and just go with the 5grand turbo my engine option although my engine has compression of 10.3 or something this should mean the turbo will spool up quicker( correct me if i am wrong) so long as im not chasing big numbers i reckon my engine should be fine to work on with a turbo

whos got any ideas on what turbo to buy as a gt40 seems a little big for my application of 0-100killer
