im going to use a custom solid roller, and im using AFR 205cc because i already have them which i was going to use on my 371. otherwise i would go for 225cc.

205cc will do the job well but if you can go 225cc with that sort of cubes u will make abit more hp

600hp is easy with all the gear that you have.

still waiting on some parts, like the sump, so i can put the engine in and mock it up and see which manifold will fit abit better. probly the TFSR with the 90mm . and im not using a solid cam anymore because ive been told by the top car shops around that solid cams r lucky to last 5000 km before i have to get new lifters. so im going custom hydrolic around the 600+ of lift, they reckon i still can make 600hp, have to wait and see. ive been doing major research so i dont have any stuff ups. dave from A1 has also been helping with the build.
the block should b getting machined very soon and then i can start putting it together.

You should speak to Sash from AN racing

His hydrolic roller ford engines make power all the way to 6800rpm. He knows his stuff and is a nice bloke.

Apparently you can use Try Y 351 windsor pacemaker extractors in a E series so maybe u can do that in your car as well.

There are no off the shelf headers that are large enough to support a 427... Using those Tri-Ys would be like trying to f@rt with a cork up your a***.

Of course theres no pipes big enough for those sort of cubes and hp wanted but if he was on a budget then thats probably his best option.

Id get a custom set of pipes from Chris http://www.bestmufflers.com.au/

He done my exhaust and his work is the best ive seen hands down but u have to pay which im happy too.

Looking at everything he's got going into this thing, I can't see him skimping on the exhaust...

I hope not

Custom extractors make 20hp of the bat with a worked engine like this plus torque

i took my dart block to kosteckies the other day to get machined, they came through with a good price and they have all the latest equipment. as soon as it gets back i can start putting it together. im thinking about running a carbie for now so i can get it running, like a 850 dubble pump.
ive been researching another manifold, the CHI/world commander 3.0 , its for windsor style heads, and also has injecter bosses cast into it for when i want to fuel inject it later.

i got my block back and have already started to put it together, the short motor is complete. waiting on a few more bolts from america. i also have to change my valve springs on my AFR 205 because they come setup standard for a solid cam not a hydrolic. i have finally bought a manifold, edelbrock super victor efi. and a1 high perfomance is also working on my custom cam so my motor should be in and complete very soon.

Nice work Tony.
Are you going to get it run in on the engine dyno?
