hey everyone!
My pride and joy is a manual au xr8. (july 2000 not sure if 185kw or 200kw?) so far it has pacemaker exctractors into a stainless 3 inch system with highflow cats, cold air induction and capa flash tuner. Atm its not on the road as i need a new clutch but will be back on the road next week. Would be great to meet some fellow ford enthusiast's and also get some tips on how to make her scare some hsv owners! Thanks heaps! Slowly getting there still have a few plans for it though. Cam and diff gears is next on the cards.

This is the best I can get for you Matey.Good looking Ute though. I don't think it is the 185kw though.

if it has the tickford hand built badge on drivers rocker cover its a 200kw, being a xr8 ute it should be 200kw tickford engine...
otherwise it will either be a 185kw.. |

Thanks heaps guys! Yeah I heard the 200kw's had that badge, mine doesn't. But I also heard the utes only came with the 200kw motor?

Also, does anyone know if there's a place in Adelaide that can put new tunes into my flash tuner? Not happy with the one it came with, seems to struggle to idle at times!

Just looked at the engine specifications in my AU Ute brochure printed in May 2001 and it states V8 OHV - Standard 175kw@4600. High Output 200kw@5000

Ford says it is a High Power V8, just like in the pic I posted.
