So has some of you guys know I've bought a new car
It started life as a basic XT. When I bought it looks like this
Image
Image

The bloke I bought it off spend about $20g getting it to where it is today
A few things about it that makes it far from an xt
- BA xr6t motor, gearbox and diff
- full force replica
- bf ghia leather interior
- premo sound
- lowered springs(now changed)
- 20 by 8.5s fronts
- 20 by 10s with 305 tyres!!!!!
- rapid stage 2 intercooler setup
- valve springs
- tune with about 250rwkw

I've had it for a week and a half. It got pedders xa coilovers put in Last Thursday.
Image
305s!!!

It'll be off the road for a lil while whilest I get it engineered which will suck but oh well

What's the standard inlet size for the turbos? Is it 0.5? The one I've got is 0.8. Spoken to a few guys and they reckon it's not standard haha

Fantastic ride mate ! Good to see someone on the forums has it now and can show some more updates. I was actually very tempted to buy it when it was on sale.
Just couldn't be bothered with the whole engineering process.
You got it for a steal as well ! 8-)

Looks neat , didn't know xt's came In that colour ?

Why's it need engineering ? Motor swap ? Or because its from a different state ?
I thought if it came out factory turbo you could put one on without engineering ??

Yea cluster is also fancy lol. I have a BA tradesman ute as work truck and it's nice to look at something other then the basics

I was tossing up not getting it due to having to get it engineered but for the price and the fact I love it I couldn't pass it up.

I'll keep you guys posted on this thing. A few things need to be done but nothing really major. I've already spend $2400 on the suspension haha

The price was a steal, I just couldn't afford gamble on how much it would cost me to engineer it.

I'll be really interested in what you have to do to get it all sorted out.
