Jeez that thing sounds mean!!

Shame to hear about the exhaust fitter not being able to do the twin system. I liked the tone the old twin system had (in one of your older video's), but this one sounds good too 8-)

Well it could be worse, a 6 cylinder and the drone

I know but worser still, if ever there was a word, it sounds like a 6 cyl when it drones. It has definately gone backwards in the sound stakes all for the sake of rego time. With the foot down, it sounds like a V8 still.

I worked on a BA XR8 ute that sounded like a 6 right until you have it heaps, I would have taken it back to the exhaust shop which fitted the crap system.

What is a 1994 ED Fairmont V8 station wagon worth these days? Car is going great, still drives great apart from the drone and never misses a beat.

Your not going to sell it are ya? That would be a shame, but then again you can get something else to mod.

Cheers

Going to miss the sound of the windsor, it doesn't set the world on fire but is reliable as anything else and for a V8, gets great economy.

Yeah, might have to do some research. Basically looking for a Land Rover because the want for a proper 4x4 wagon and it must be a V8.

Sorry to burst your bubble but the only thing good about them is the sound and suspension travel. I would lay more faith in a $2 Rollex bought on ebay with free postage.

You can get V8 landcruisers too, but they are petrol. I'm sure with a set of extractors & good exhaust system they might sound like a good v8!

Cheers
