nice work bud. if the paint isnt sitting in spots and gets those circles, try roughing up the surface more and cleaning it with prepsol otherwise use some etch-primer first then spray over it. just remembered i got an ed wagon (white) in my backyard if you wana take (or cut) anything off it.

thanks for the offer, but i think the trip to ACT will cost a lil more then buying the panels from a wrecker lol.
stupid me installed the velour door trims, without the door locks.. thinking oh year i just pull the inside door handles.. NOT WITH AN EA!!!!!!!!! lol, 2 minutes later and a pair of pointy nose pliers i had the doors unlocked... ill just leave the doors unlocked for rwc tomorrow lol |

haha yeh i know, no probs. maybe could post something up if you cant find a descent dog leg.
hahaha someone tried the old "leave the door unlocked trick" on me a few months ago for RWC. i lent on the lock snib and locked myself in while driving and went to get out and it turns out they dont lock that door cos when they do it wont unlock....... i had to get in and out the passenger door haha

lol. i was going to find some old skool round door locks buttons like the x-series have, but i dont know anyone close that has any. and all the wreckers around here stack parts in a building so there is no pocketing

well RWC got put back till tomorrow, not a big issue, cant get rego till friday anyways. do anyways, fixed up the rust, not the best job but as its getting resprayed in a few weeks ill fix it up all neat and smooth then.
it got a wash, the bonnet vents resprayed with my spray gun, turned out quite well but i really should have done some prep work on them instead of just spraying them (were allready in primer) sorted out the last of the issues today, all mights work, i got the windscreen washers working, adjusted them, re-fitted the bonnet and headlight protectors, removed all the tools. i got the CTP payed and ready to rock and roll, got all the forms signed (except the personalised plates ones) as i might put them off for a few weeks due to cost of transfere and alot of other bills we have to pay first. so here is the pics from today and it ready to go for RWC...

running tally.. so far (including the sub which isnt in the car) its cost me out of my pocket $74.54, minus sub and its cost me $24.54

they dont make a GT wagon kit. i was bidding on some XR sideskirts i was going to extent to suit the wagon, but ebay deleted the listing which sucked as it was local.
ill keep looking for some, i thought about AU III side skirts from a wagon or BA/BF fairlane side skirts but i feel they might be too boxy for the curved front bar. ill see if i can get a chop done to see how it looks |

i wonder if the ts50 side skirts for the wags would work
as they are square and thicker

Whats the point of a wagon if you used half the boot for sub boxes. agreed the wheel would look good, but why and that screen just screams cop bait

why would it scream cop bait? it looks securely mounted and providing its not on while your driving (well aslong as you dont get caught) then i dont see an issue
