well this is my xr6 had it for about 5 weeks now, and love her heaps!! swapped her for my old statesman
recently did a major service, oil,coolant,plugs,fuel filter,oil filter and the vaccum and wash and wax, new tyres and a tranny service but the paints not in the best condition:( mods to come: rego,extractors, cam,higher rated valve springs, AU head gasket,respray and maybe in the end a set of nice rims. does anybody know how to get dirt stains off seats and how to get them out? Nice work mate, definately traded up. Nifti household degreaser for small stains or hire a carpet shampoo machine from woolies or bunnings, they have an upholstery fitting that works well. Just a tip, if they dont make you use the soap that goes with the machine, just get generic wool wash its much cheaper and works well.

just an update, im getting pacemakers 4490's this saturday
 and the catback thats on it seems to be be alright so it shouldnt be to bad...i cant get the bloody seats clean i hit them with a steam vaccum and didnt do anything, so maybe its time to take it to somebody. just a question on spray painting the car your self, is it a big job? |

If it was one of those home steam cleaners that everyones mum buys off tv, I tried that too, they dont do crap! Rust stains are the only thing I havnt been able to get out of my cloth/velour interiors with Nifti. And the carpet cleaners you can hire use hot soapy water and clean deeper into the seat too.
