Yeah, I feel sorry for the turbo blokes if they are running the same brakes as us with ALOT more power...

Hey all,

So sorry I haven't kept you guys up to date, but no new mods have been done yet - been so busy recently and the new garnish & lights I bought were received in the mail broken :\ So had to return them.

But, as currently standing, this week I should have my 19" G6E rims (already paid for, waiting to be delivered) and my G6E rear lights (paid for and waiting to be delivered).

Gonna try get Ford to put the rims on the car on Saturday... $115 to put them on, do a full wheel alignment and adjust the speedo!

More photos coming soon when the car is updated. For now, here are a few I took today!

Speedo should be fine if it's same rolling diameter, but none the less, good rims.

They are the rims I wanted to get, but a little pricey for me. Though I recently acquired a set of 300C 18's, that I'm very happy with (and for $250 I might add). Looks mint I recon.

Might add foglights just like yours soon, maybe after the audio install has been finalized.

Nice build by the way, good to see someone doing the little things around the car rather then just piling it into the engine bay. I like it, my sorta build I recon :)

Deano, if you could afford it, I reckon FPV dark agent rims would look very nice with it lowered a tad (or Xr6 suspension)
See pics below....

Yeah I think the rolling diameter might change, not too sure, gotta speak to Ford again

$250? Nice haha! I'll have to head over to your thread to check them out.

I highly suggest adding foglights, I think it completes the car. What exactly are you going to be doing to the audio? I've been thinking about upgrading some of it too.

And haha yeah, appearance first, engine later :D

Imo, the FPV dark agent rims look too sporty for my liking - I'm going for a more classy look, but the silver one's do look really nice

Pop across to the 'show us your modded fg' thread and flick through there. There is a g6e (I think) the same colour as yours. Could get a few ideas from there. Plus there is a photo of krazed and my car there too.
I have been pretty lazy of late. Once I get my computer back, instead of just having my iPhone, then I'll do a few updates.

Had a quick look, wow the FG's are so good looking!

Also saw yours and TheKrazeD's Falcons'. Looking good, looking very good.

Your 300c rims look really epic on the car!! Good choice and a great bargain! Double win haha

Yeah that's what I love about this stuff, straight swaps haha. If by "bars" you mean the front and rear bumpers, they are the same, as confirmed by Ford. That's why I listed that I want to get a g6e front bumper for my car, because it'll fit straight on :D

But note, the G6/G6E grill according to Ford will not fit the XT front bumper.. therefore if you want that you will have to swap bumpers too (I'm gonna do that soon)

Hey I noticed what you said (above quote) and just thought this may be of some interest. :) just happen to see it http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/melbourn ... 1013399357
