its an EFI windsor cob, 30 deg is the standard base timing for one of these engines.

ok then, old fuel? have you tried 98 in it? has the stroker build bumped up compression?
just what i could think of other then that i'm stumped too. |

yeah it has old fuel in it, i'll be putting some fresh stuff in tomorrow.

the highest octane possible would be best especially with the old fuel already in there. hope that solves it for you.

i just looked back over your thread and i'm going to guess that you would have between 180 - 190 pounds per cylinder which will dictate premium fuel.

yeah Paul it does sound tough! but a little bit too loud for around here, currently running the exhaust that came in the donor car, twin 2.5inch dumped just before the diff.
 plans are custom S/Steel twin 2.5 into 3 over the diff.hopefuly taking it in for a tune next week

Some more progress on the exhaust today..
     hopefully get it made up and tacked together tomorrow so I can take it into work next week and TIG it all up.

Got it all tacked together today, now just need to take it all into work so I can finish it all off, hopefully all going well, it should be done by the end of the week :beg:

Got most of the exhaust cleaned and welded up today, only have the rear flanges to weld on and the tail pipe to weld up and also setup the hangers.

all finished!
 now once I have accumulated some more coinage i'll be taking it in for a tune!
