update today i bought a XR6 motor off a member of this forum it has a wade cam 1636, crow double valve springs and a little bit of head work.
 the motor

took the car to my sisters boyfriends work yesterday to fix what i was told by a mate stuffed lifters got it into the work shop pulled the rocker cover off and it turned out to be a borken timing chain guide and the timing chain is stuffed aswell

recent photos of things that have been happening with the car
despolerd with a fairmont boot i got on ebay for $10   fairmont seats from ebay for $35 only back ones in at the moment gotta clean the front ones  put my gauges back in   and mucking around with some badging  opinions? thats all for now hopefully more soon

small update after mucking around with the 4 litre badge decided it had to go, i also put in my fairmont front seats

got the falcon running yesterday and it was going very well untill i pulled into my mates driveway today to have smoke coming from under the car popped the bonnet to see the hood lining coverd in flames and to make it worse my mate didnt have a hose just a small bottle of water
theres a bit of damage couple of melted wires, melted the clutch cable and hood lining got the most damage tho think it was started by power steering fluid got onto the extractors....and also when we first started it the timing chain tensioner broke wich i just had a new kit put in  so going to the mechanics tommorrow they are goin to have a look and see what the cause was......enough talking from me some pics below

dam youd be devo mate.
good looking car mate keep up the work and im sure it will turn out killer. may want to consider getting a fire extinguisher though.

yer fair call mate good luck with it, im sure the mechanic will be able to sort it out.
tinted tail lights look tops dark as just how i like them.

took the car over to the mechanic today and they had a look at it reason why the tensioner let go is because who ever put the head on when the old owner had it tensioned it up wrong damaging the aux shaft and something else i forget now causing the tensioner to snap when i first started it and also theres not much oil flowing into the cylinder head....so now i gotta decide to find another motor or just get rid of the car.

well its now for sale all damage from fire has been fixed and it now has a white non spoilerd boot lid i will be advertising it in the next few days.
