got some new rims today, got 17" cobalts from bselect. only paid $1000 for rims and tyres so i was happy

also, will a 3 inch intake system fit in the EF's?
because my brother inlaw wants to sell me one really cheap but where unsure if it will fit as the EF's have the flat intake system |

That's a nice first car. Looks straight and clean . My first car was a green ef covered in dints and scratches.
I learned alot from it. If I was u i would keep the car you have do a few bolt on mods like full exhaust, intake, cam, manual, lsd. Then if you want a e series xr buy one , the transfer all the parts to it and return the ef to stock and sell it. That's what I did . I now have a el xr6 which has most of the ef mods . I'm glad I didnt get a xr6 for my first car cos it would of been trashed . Or mayb I would of had the sense not to? I don't know . What I'm saying is . Get a cheap first car have fun in it do what ever . then get a mint xr6 and look after it.

Btw I have front ssl/stock shocks and rear sl (cut) Monroe gt shocks for sale if u wanna dump the Boat lol
It's the setup that was in my xr6 and it rode ok . Will get u low if ur on a budget . Then get some decent ones later .

Then get some decent ones later . yeah, my brother inlaw did the same. he had a manual AU ute and got the the bolt on mods then he sold it and bought a manual AU xr6 and transfered it all over. how much would you sell the shocks for? and do u no if a 3inch intake system would fit in a ef? |

Fair cheap mate . Send me a PM.
Depends what 3" intake . U can get one made up or put a BA intake on. Its 3" and has a nice Bend But it's 70mm to short so just connect it to the airbox with 3" pipe (unlike the el one where it has a sharp 90* bend at the TB.) Check out my build thread in my sig. It has all the basic mods pretty much covered . I have a BA intake with a pod filter in the box I'd Recommend that as it looks factory and Is cheap and easy to do.

El isn't 3" . At the TB end yes but air box is like 55mm
