u could swap to ea-d k frame but u still have to cut it..other than that no other way but to cut it..just cut it and get the gap welded up with plate there like fordman351 here

Thats one thing i was going to say, can you not mod the sump? Even though theres nothing wrong with cutting the frame up, may just look tidier for the cert man. other wise theres always the mud option, ice cream container, dirt, water, mix together and smear over the welds etc, go for a drive down a gravel road, cert man will be none the wiser. works in NZ lol.

nope cant weld the sump on a barra cause the oil pump is at the front... even if u could still wont fit in a ef-l..i dnt think au motors fit wen the sump been welded either

Pretty sure if you mod the sump on au it fits fine in all e series, from the pictures ive seen

Over six years, half a years wage spent, lots of happy times and the sad, but it's now time to move on. The car sold last night, the new owner will be picking it up next weekend.

Thanks man, new owner loves it. So i've heard on the grape vine, it's now tuned and putting down stupid ammounts of power and torque, well done i say
 As for new projects, i've gone with something a little more modest. I managed to pick up a very well looked after, clean 2003 MK1 BA XR8 for $9,000. Nothing over the top, no options, stock as a rock, just very tidy and well maintained. Looking for some 19" FG XR 'option' rims to jazz it up a little in the meantime. |
