Look forward to seeing finished product

Thanks man, yep hopefully not too far down the track i'll have some sort of plenum, i'd love one of the nizpro ones, but not the asking price, i think they go for about the $1300 mark! But, we'll see what comes up, i'll get the car going first lol.

Looks great mate, I'd hate to put that thing back together after the paint was done, it'd be a cnt of a job! Keep the updates coming!

Hey there, great work with the new motor and the engine bay freshen up. Really good update and I'm suprised that more guys haven't taken this mod path given that there these barra 6cyls are everywhere!

This is exactly what I want my station wagon engine bay to look like, but with a windsor of course. The lack of wires, looms is a great look. Unfortunately, you 6cyl boys have it easy there :x .

I'm thinking, when the current EF spec engine lets go/does a headgasket I will be throwing a barra in.

Tinkered around a bit tonight, rotated the comp housing of the turbo, started running and hiding some of the wiring and generally just tidying everything up.

Because i'm not utilising the BBM butterflies anymore, i've done away with the VSV and the tubing for it too. Just wondering what the little blue 'thing' is and is it an important part of the system? I have reduced those small black tubes down to two, to keep everything neat, hope it all works properly.

The blue item is the vacuum check valve so you don't bleed vacuum when at WOT.

Not sure as if it's for cruise control, as the EF/EL cruise modules were electronic. Unfortunately i don't have it anymore  god i miss cruise control.

So would i have to connect this to the rubbery line heading into the cabin? I'm pretty sure that one goes to the vaccuum ball in the drivers side wheel arch. But what about when the engine is boosted, i'll still need it then won't i?

I think the little thin black on is for the climate control. From what I remember it was the one that had me stumped. It runs right up to the CC unit. The other one.... no idea sorry.

Don't forget you will need a vac line for a boost gauge.
