I fitted an EF II Ghia interior, looks nice i reckon





in moderation, and the right colours, it can come up ok

lol dont worry i wont start painting the dash have thought about it though, like the door trims on the ghia's want to keep it grey though. would it be queer if put bonnet flutes on it?

Yours goes with the rest of the car, im talking about painting the facia red like some loser did the other week, ruined a nice dash imo

Lol i remember that one. It was quite bad wasnt it. I reckon black goes well in the e-series interior, it looks sexy, just wish it came from factory like that. What FordFairmont did was real nice though, suits the cappa interior well. Almost convinced me to do it too

yeah mate ive got the grey coloured interior. looks quite good judt the door trims are looking a bit old and faded.

I like the grey better than the cappa to be honest lol, the cappa one gets dirty very quickly, especially the arm rests which happen to change colour. Id get some woodgrain doortrim spears fitted or complete door trims from a fairmont ghia or fairlane/ltd with woodgrain and get the door cards retrimmed to whatever colour you want. Then later on retrim the whole interior to match . Seriously though, woodgrain in Fairmonts is a must i reckon

i have been looking out for trims and stuff, i have though about getting a leather console lid, ghia sunvisors with mirror, carpet kick panels and the courtesy light on the console.

Yup you got that right, so are padded armrests!


I think the woodgrain dash spear makes it unbalanced unless you have an ELGT steering wheel.

may have to be something ill have to save for, being 18 next month will hurt the bank, glad mine runs on gas

If they came with a nice dark wood finish it would be nice, but I hate the wood in mine, and being an EF1 I have real wood. I must be the odd one out of everybody.

Yeah it kind of would now that i think about it, although ive got one in my car along with only the woodgrain shifter surround and its complete sex

All i need now is leather/woodgrain doortrims to match, just cant find ones with the woodgrain style im after.

I doubt it. White would look crap, White with wood grain would clash painfully.

I'd leave it, unless you were going to go Black and get a black wheel and everything to match.

i must admit i like the interior in the pic above. i think thw woodgrain will look good and must admit cannot go wrong with the stuff.
