Also not trying to make Katty an enemy either but it pisses me off that she continuely puts down her engine builder and is bad mouthing him to anyone who will listen when it is clearly not his fault and I know the guy and his work is of a very high standard. He has been building race cars and engines for many years.

Is it just me or is this thread being picked apart by people having guilt attacks and deleting their posts? I really hate it when people do that. Anyways. I dont know who your engine builder is, but if hes putting rods in backwards and chucking any old oil pump into a rebuild then he sounds like a cheap hack, that is of course that you're paying for all the new bits every time and not limiting what he can do by making him work to a (low) budget. We used to build HQ race motors back in the mid 90's and at one particular national meeting at hidden valley we had the 2 fastest cars at the end of the straight out of about 40 cars. Blew 3 motors up doing it at about $4 grand a pop. Those motors died because the drivers got to hot under the collar when they should have just been doing slow laps running rings and bearings in, there may have been some rules bent in there somewhere a swell but that was a long time ago. Anyways, Katty and her dad appear to be doing ok for themselves, I think the people on here should stop blowing smoke up other peoples a*** and stop being patronizing to katty for that matter and let her do her thing her way. And watch out the next guy who puts a slug in upside down, you will feel some wraith lol.

Great thread!! (Apart from the group hissy fit on pg4 :) :) ) I'll be keeping an eye on this one.
Good luck with your future races!!
And remember, in all forms of motor sport; things go crunch, things go bang, but as long as you can walk through your front door at the end of the day........... s**t Happens.
Cars can be fixed. :D

Sits nice and flat in turn 3, highlighted by the German 2 door commodore in the background.

Considering its a slight off camber and dropping turn it looks pretty composed.

What times did you run? full course or short circuit?

So what happened to the EA? You still racing Katty? Would love to seem some updated stuff like how the cars going and if you are actually still racing. If you are racing would love to see the car in action.
Maybe you could bring the Pink bitz down to the AFD as we didnt see it last meeting. Although i was very impressed with the EF i believe it was.

Anyway Good luck and maybe we'll see the ea in person at the AFD.

Cheers Joel

Hey there sorry I havent been on here in ages. Yes I still racing the EA it now has a new new motor in it once again new clutch and all balanced hasnt been on the circuit yet with the newy in will be at Winton on the 29th Jan got a Supersprint on so should be interesting how the car will handle and what kinda weather the day will bring.

I did the victorian super sprint last year 2011 and came 16th overall which is ok for my first year of really giving it a go....

I dunno what this year will bring me thinking of a career change so i might not be able to continue...

AFD 2012 - Geelong..... I am no sure if i can get time off work :( i'll see and if i do I will bring PINKSTIG..... But i really cant do much on my own trailering it down and getting it off....

So I might bring STIG67 aka RLYKTY (yes i changed my plates) and might have a new sound system in there.... Really not sure I havent had time to do anything to any of the cars lately EF is looking scraggy :(
