You're looking at Mr 159 KZZ, my brother got it registered for me today and picked me up from work and I dropped him off. :D

Everything was uneventful except for the fact that theres some light surging on gear change, my brother thinks that the auto needs a service... I'm going to see how it goes :)

So, got some power mirrors from the wreckers and they're in and working, going to get a better right hand side one though.

Going to wire up the EL mirror switch tommorow (doing the EF door trims next weekend) and seeing as noone has done a comprehensive guide to wiring up the EB mirrors to working with it I'll take plenty of pics and do a little writeup on it.

Bah, the damn dizzy bolt came loose today as I was driving, which meant the moment I stopped it wouldn't start again... the guys who installed it will cop an earful from me tommorow morning as they mustn't have tightend the bolt.

Got my brother to tow it down to his place and I ended up wiring up my EL door mirror switch, after reading all the threads on it that don't give a clear and concise guide I decided to draw one up.

Hardly, no timing light and out of money for the week -_-
So hopefully the place I got it installed is decent enough to sort it out for me considering its their stuff up.

Phew what a week, well the guys who installed the dizzy for me were courteous enough to fix it for free... but it still wouldn't start.

So they checked the fuel pump and it was buggered, long story short... a new fuel filter and pump and I'm now $300 odd poorer. BUT tommorow is a new day, I'll have some pics for you all on sunday of my EF door trims after finishing off their install tommorow. :)

Front door trims are in, I was going to take pictures but was busy and forgot so :(. They look really nice however :D

My brother shouted me a mid series gauge cluster when we went to the wreckers, so thats in now... the only gauges that don't work are the tacho, the temperature and the oil pressure gauges. The temperature gauge wasn't working anyway, I need to swap the lower thermostat housing and put in the sender (doing that next weekend as well as the rear door trims). And the oil pressure and tacho are no big deal.

Fitted the EB lower thermostat housing today, put in a new thermostat while I was at it. Now my temperature gauge works and I was able to set the fans at the correct temp.

The best bit is I bought the housing from autobarn for $60... then took it to my brothers place and fitted a brass blank off, the gauge sender and the coolant temp sender, went to supercheap and saw the same housing for $14.. when I was last there they couldn't even give me a date to when they could possibly get one in stock. So I bought the $14 lower housing and went to autobarn and 'returned' the it for $60.

I'm getting the Auto serviced next week so hopefully that will get rid of the rough shifts under brakes/occasionally under acceleration.

After that I'm getting the EF external door handles colour matched so I can finish off the EF door trim conversion (no point taking off the door trims yet again).

Good s**t man. Colour coded EF handles look the s**t on boxcars. They'll look great in your cars colour too.

Andrew.
