Will do!

Just contemplating whether to get the new exhaust before or after as I might be a little tight for cash if I get it before lol

What's getting done?

First off, getting the auto out. Piss that s**t off lol
Put the 5speed conversion in with the ripshifter installed.
New LSD with 3.9 diff gears.

Then she's up on the dyno, to be fully tuned. Hopefully have the new twin 2.5" exhaust on by that stage, or at least a new cat (i think mines turned to s**t lol)

Just wondering how you went about getting the LSD with the 3.9 diff gears? im on the sunshine coast and will eventually want this upgrade done is there any good places in Brisbane?

I'm not sourcing the gears. But rumor has it, you can use gears from an AU and just shim. Or you can get the whole works and jerks and just upgrade to an M86 Rear Assembly, which will allow you to have 4.11 ratios, plus a stronger diff. Costs a pretty penny to do though.

Smallish update.

Managed to get the Lowered Monroe GT Shocks in at the rear. Took f**k ages, as the C*** of a bolt is tight as f**k. Anyways, still waiting to do the front struts. Ran into an issue. I can't get the f**k PCM off, due to those gay f**k screws that ford snap the head off, so you can't steal the PCM. Why they do that, f**k got me stumped. p****d off, as it's only meant to be on the PCM to the bracket, yet the bracket has the same s**t, so I need to find a mate with a grinder so I can put little screw slots in to unscrew the C***.

Yes, a little p****d off lol

Aside from that, nearly spun out when turning onto a road last night. Didn't see a nice line of water across the road. Looks like a water leak from the hydrant or something. Needless to say, going 70% throttle in first with full traction, then all of a sudden it hits the water is BAD JUJU!! Scared the f**k s**t out of me. Thank f**k no cars were coming down the road, otherwise this would be an update on a written off car.

Question time. What is needed to do an oil change for the transmission? I have 9 Litres of TQ95 Auto Trans oil. Need to get the filter and gasket obviously. But how do I fill the transmission up? The filler plug is on the side of the transmission, so I can't just pour the oil in. Do I need a suction thingy or? Sorry if that sounded like a retarded question lol

more than 50% right boot in 1st around a corner = sideways. 8-)

as for filling the box, yes its retarded and annoying but i use a funnel with a hose on the bottom.
get the missus to pour while i hold the other end in the hole and wait till its full.

when the oil starts coming out its full then ya quikly stick the bolt back in.

Haha it was a fairly smooth corner, there was no way I would of even lost traction if the water wasn't there aye. Checked my tyres this afternoon... should probably rotated them around. Nearly down to the wear indicators.

Cheers for that benny. It's a f**k prick trying to find the filler plug too... I hate cars sometimes lol

Tested out the new helmet yesterday! Holy crap it's comfy. Went down to Kingston Park Raceway (go karts). Didn't do too badly, was stuck behind some slow people and couldn't get below 63 seconds per lap. Better luck next time :P

Anyways, Pacemaker 4495's are on their way and so is the twin 2.5" XFORCE catback.
I'm waiting on details to transfer money so I can get a 3" into twin 2.5" Y Piece for the Hyrbid Cat from Venom. It has a 2.5" inlet from the headers, and a 3" outlet that connects up to the Y Piece. $300 total from Venom, can't say no. Have the new exhaust on hopefully Monday-Tuesday next week.

Got an FG 6 inlet manifold etc for $270 posted to my door. I'm after the lower, upper inlet manifold with the trottle body attached, and also the water piping that runs along the block beside the manifold. Direct swap with a little modifying of the BA tb loom to fit, but the increased airflow has given proven gains of up too 15rwkw in already tuned cars BA 6's.

Fingers crossed I have it by the weekend, so I can have fun fitting that up.

Update time.

Pacemaker 4495's and XFORCE Twin 2.5" system is fitted. Cost me $300 to get fitted. I'm annoyed that it's raining, can't even think about going near the accelerator without the car going "Ohhhh sideways babyyyy!!" Hopefully dries up tomorrow for a drive up the coast.

The old system was quite loud, being only a single 2.5" system with only the rear muffler. I liked the sound, but it was too loud for my liking. This system has 2 mufflers, and is quite pleasant to listen too. It's quiet, but hints at the fact that it is aftermarket. Then when you stab the pedal, she roars to life with no hesitation. I'll give the camera a charge and post a video up tonight or tomorrow. If not, I'll have one up Sunday of it at the Dyno Comp. Fingers crossed for 160rwkw lol

Luckily neither of us were hurt. I'm more p****d about the fact that I couldn't afford to put my insurance back on after I got back from Malaysia (My insurer wanted $2,500 just to reinstate my cover).... Now I have a car that's either going to cost $4000-$5000 to fix, or I'm going to scrap it for parts. I could of had insurance claim, and then scrapped for parts later. Ahhh well, we're young and make stupid mistakes at times.

I've learned my lesson, and had my wake up call. I've still got the daily 4cyl to get around in.

Plus side is now I won't be spending my tax return on the gearbox and LSD conversion. Saved me $4000 there.

Engine SHOULD be fine. The fuel cut was engaged, so unable to actually start the car. It did crank, but wouldn't actually start when we tried to start it, but was showing the fuel cut symbol on the cluster.

Not sure how to remove the fuel cut, will have to check before I head up to pull parts off in 2 weeks. If engine kicks over, I will put it up for sale also @ $200 pickup only (will stay in the car until it's sold, and then buyer can help me remove it as I don't have an engine crane). The auto gearbox should be working also, and I'll let that go for a reasonable offer as I'm not sure how much they are.
