It looks so much better without them.

It's really easy to do it yourself too, I gathered by your post that you're just going to get someone else to do it?

There's a $2-3 tool that makes it dead easy.

I can post up a photo if you want?

Yeah righto, here's an attempted example:

It isn't very clear though, I'll try and upload a photo of the actual thing when I can.

Not at all, with this thing you can run along as fast as you can walk along side it.

It's really good.

I'll try and get a photo up.

Well I finally have an internet connection again after a lot of screwing around...

Anyways, over the last couple of weeks I've decided to sell the EF wagon (I might see about registering it for a better sale) and I'll also be selling the EB after I've resprayed the door and replaced the window. I'll probably leave selling the EB until the last minute 'cos it's a more convenient daily than the XF.

I've decided to get another AUII or AUIII, but this time a wagon. In either white or maroon.

I've looked at a couple of Fairmont AU wagons but their interiors haven't looked as impressive as my old AU which had the black one, the Fairmont's I've seen have had a greyish one..

Ideally I'd like to grab a nice AU wagon, even a Forte would be okay 'cos I'd like to buy a written off AU LTD witch black leather and transfer that. I was considering BA interiors due to the central control computer thing (whatever its proper name is) but even the high-end BA's don't look as good IMO as the AU back, not as much wood, etc.

I was also wanting a BA XT or XR front end on the AU, but even an AU LTD front end would be nice (I know the BA and AU front end panels aren't directly interchangeable).

Well that's my main goal for a daily car now, an AU wagon with LTD bits, but before I spend any money on that I'll be trying to buy that P6 LTD for the engine, box, interior and door, etc for my XC.

I know no one will really care, but this is more for my record, I tend to forget some of the car stuff I've owed and done..

Oh, and I'll definitely be uploading a picture of the EB before I sell it..

Yeah haha, I really miss my old one.. I won't be able to afford it for a little while though, I need to re-register my ute and a few other things. Plus the P6 is more of a priority :D

One thing that helped the decision was the cost of rego each year..

I dunno, got a ballpark figure in mind? You're welcome to have a look at it.
