Spent a few hours down at the river today with my girlfriend and her family...Had a BBQ and took the dogs along so they could have a swim. The ute needs a bit of a wash now...

I replaced the crappy orange side repeaters with series 3 clear indicators and orange globes...
Tomorrow I might spray the mirror scalps in Winter White to match the rest of the ute.

The clear repeaters make the ute look a lot cleaner Paul, I don't know what Ford were thinking putting amber lens's on them when they already have clear front and rear indicators.

Very true Chris...Like what we were discussing a few days ago when Ford used amber indicators on the tail lights of the BA utes. It was a definate step backwards, Just like when Ford used amber again on the EL's when they had previously used clear for the EF's.

Got my dash clock in the mail today (Cheers Justin74). My old one was buggered as the last 2 digits were unreadable.
Now I need to replace a few globes... The globe in the air con button, The globe for the cigarette lighter and also a couple of other ones. Anyone know what type of globe is required for the air con button?
I still need to drain and flush the cooling system and put some decent coolant in it. Need to give the ute a long overdue wash too.

Going to install my UHF in the ute tomorrow....I've got the aerial cable routing all sussed out in the engine bay, Gonna make it as inconspicuous as possible. I'll post pics once finished.

The globe for the air con light is really tiny. It's connected to a black bulb holder and believe it or not they are obsolete from Ford....Or atleast thats what I was told by the bloke at the spare parts desk at Davison Ford Mildura. The only place to get them is from a wreckers which I did today, But the globe I got must have been buggered too as it's still not lighting up.
On a positive note, I've installed my UHF CB in the ute...Works great and it's installed neat and tidy.

Ute is looking great.
I would love to see your UHF install. I want to put a spare one I have in mine but dont want to have an aerial looking like a wanna be BNS ute.
The aircon light in mine is stuffed as well. Has been like it since I got it.

I finally got around to fixing the drivers actuator in the ute this morning.
The remote central locking works perfectly now, And it wasn't anywhere near as difficult or fiddly to replace as people make it out to be.

The culprit (A common fault)...

You can only just see the break in the cog/worm gear...

Some more goodies arrived for the ute this morning...

I scored a genuine Ford tonneau cover off ebay for only $76 posted. It had only ever been used for 3 weeks ever so it's in mint condition.
Also bought a larger CAI from Bayfords on ebay.

Still got some more items arriving this week too.

Will take pics once my other items arrive.
