I'm running the stock Alpine amp Bridged as per factory for the sub. I'm after SQ not SPL.

Well, seems this thing has a passionate hate for me. I'm fairly sure the hall effect sensor is dead, and it appears to have lost compression. Comp test coming up, followed by a leakdown test, then I'll go from there. I may have to pull a few strings and rake together a few grand and go on a Summit/Jegs spending spree. It appears that heads/cam/manifold might happen faster depending on coin acquisition.

leak down will give a comp too, just not a 150psi so to speak

Leak down doesnt show compression. It shows how much compression is lost from a certain amount over a period of time.

Nope. Still dead. Sounds like no compression, but i won't know until i manage to get my hands on a compression tester. Mine is buggered to the point it can't be used.

Damm...i hope you get it running soon. Judging by the pics and your situation...you need a reliable car right now. Good luck man

Yea, I'll get it sorted. Will be reliable soon enough. Lucky I know my way around an engine pretty well.

The more people buy my Fairlane gear, the more mods this will get. At this stage it's going to be a near stock rebuild......

So, Compression test done. 35psi across the board. 45psi wet. Chalk up my first ever fatality. I'll retain the heads and cam for a further build, but at this stage, it's just copping another 5.SLO. With the pain diagnosing the issue vs swapping in another engine (and what I'm getting the replacement for) it's engine swap time.
