New little update.

I got my bobtail spoiler and boot on today, looks good but wrong colour so will be in primer for a while. It still needs some finer adjustment as its not sitting good somewhere.

The tape is on it because the garnish fell apart when removing it from the other bootlid, So i have used sika to put the garnish back on, i thought it was black sika but it turned out to be white(Thanks Bunnings)

Will have a different look next week. Will have to wait till then for pictures.

Some better pics of the bobtail out in the sun with the ghia badge back on (after it fell off)

Still need to put it all in primer, ill get around to it at a later stage as with the rest of the car.

Will also be replacing some bushes soon as they are either very crappy or will just replace them.

New slotted brakes and pads will be on after I get my tax back, should be better at stopping then.

Heres a pic also of my engine cover, looks white but its in Primer.

I think thats it for now till after tax back.

Cheers :)

Well its been a while since Ive updated the thread so here are some new pics, Ill try to keep it at minimum.

Newer things to add are:

Painted wheels
Painted bump strips
Painted engine cover
New 90 deg thermo housing
New slotted and dimpled rotors & green stuff pads to go on
Bobtail spoiler fitted

First up is the painted wheels, strips & bobtail

Painted engine cover. Sapphire black metallic with green pearl in the clear.

Rotors

I also gave the inside a full tidy up, removed the rear seat to let it dry out after my sunroof has been leaking so Ive ended up gaffer taping the rubber strips on the sunroof.

Ive fitted the rear ghia trims with the chrome handles to tidier the car up more and just all over general tidying.

Future plans are a full respray in the Poly green but going to customise the colour possibly with a bit more green as the original colour is made up of alot of cobalt blue. Wheel wells and underside will be painted with body deadener spray in black. As well with the outside ill be getting the windows tinted to finish all that off.

Well thats pretty much it for now.

Hope you like the pics :)
