well its been a little since a update, i have changed the way i had my catch can hoses from the single one to having the 2. i welded some dash 8 fittings into the rocker cover then got my mate to powdercoat them for me which came up a treat, even better than the first one
and instead of buying another one i stole the one out of the wifes AU so now she has a nice black one too lol

i also needed somewhere to get a boost ref from so i welded 2 barbs into my cooler pipe just near the turbos.
got hoses going everywhere for the wastegates lol
also got a body loom out of a ef fairmont, so that i can wire in 4 door elec windows. atm i only have the fronts.
also going to do something a little tricky with my window switchs, as i only have the 2 hidden on the side of my centre console. going to put in a little switch on my side of the console that switches front to rear so that i can control my fronts and rear windows from the 2 window switches. ;-) the fun part was seperating the power windows from the rest of the loom :glare:

just have to finish wiring up the boost controller and the oxy sensor bung needs to be tapped out as there must be coating in there stopping it screwing in then i should be able to try firing it up :drinks2:
have to go get a charger as the one i got is fu#ked that i found out last night and my battery is dead as a door nail.

one thing that i was spewing about was the rear breather had powdercoating on the fitting when i was screwing it on and somehow just f**k the fitting, thought it was going on alright but NO, it was stripping the s**t out of the fitting. so i cut it off and drilled and tapped it out awaiting a fitting to screw in there with a dash 8 on the other end.

well it looks like its time to pull the engine out  as when i got it started it was blowing a bit of smoke which come down to the turbo drains not being large enough!!
but i will tidy up a few things while its out.
picked up my gearbox over the weekend and looks to be a good thing, just have to send my clutch of to have the centre changed from 10 spline to 26 spline for the tko box. also got a cushion button cluch to go with it but it is also 10 spline so i might look at putting that in my xr8 ute

the gearbox has straight cut gears for 1st, 2nd, 3rd

also bought a cat to put on it, gee it looks big lol
going to be a busy few weeks

well i had it all in an going but then got myself a tko, plus the turbo drains wern't big enough so it all had to come out so that i can fab up some 3/4inch drain pipes and fitting in the sump to suit, plus take my clutch out and send away to get the standard 10spline centre changed to 26 spline to suit the tko then put it back together and get it tuned!!
so i hope to have that all done in about 3 weeks......hope to

no wonder you need two jobs... lol

good to see you didn't go this far to get carried away and drive it before everything is sorted and lunch it like some people have done.

Nice work.
