im doing a manaul conversion to my NC lane which is a six too.
im just using the factory tailshaft, cant wait till its finished.

trust me dude once you own a manaul falcon you'll never want to have a auto again.

just remember to reinforce the pedal box and firewall while its all out off the car save a lot of head f**k later on.

Firewall "needs" a plate on it, as the clutch cable hole is not very strong. Also, if you are thinking about getting a manual pedal box, I would recommend just getting the Mal Wood pedal pin kit. It has a strong reinforcement plate that comes with it, makes the pedal box a hell of a lot stronger than factory.

otherwise you can be pulling you dash out again :?
but this would only (should) happen if you use a heavy clutch.

car has been forsale since nov last year.. pretty over it so pretty sure i'll be keeping it, wanted to get a ute

could anyone tell me what kinda $$$ i'd be lookin at to get the following done to the lane at a mechanics, before i go finding out

already have..
4499 extractors
crow cam vernier gears
j3 chip( think it needs to be sent back to be re-programed to suit)
will soon have a 5spd manual conversion out of a el xr6( comes with everything needed inc xr6 com, pedal box, all wiring)

want to get..
reco head port n polish ( around 700-900??)
1521a wade cam (re-grind or billet???)
highflow cat
cai piping
dyno tune

to gell all this stuff done i need to see the bank man
so would i get all this done for under $3000???
wouldnt really bother me if i had to spend 5g on it to get it smicko
thought about turbo but dont wanna spend that kinda money on it as i still use it everyday

you help would be much appreciated
cheers

Hey I've seen that gear shifter and gear boot before. Haha!! Looking good bro. You'll love the manual. Mine used to pull along nicely with it. I'm dropping my 5.0l off in 3 weeks when I get back to get built. Should have it going by the end of the year. We will have to go for a cruise.
