my vote is...the black centre 19's suit the car.
as for having a couple of set's of wheel's.....i have a "stock" set as well as the "bf mk2 typhoon 19's" & a set of weld draglite's, which i swap between the 3 depending on what's on ...(got to much time on my hand's)
all set's give the car a different look for each. 8-)

Steve, nothing like a few set of wheels is there ;)

Thought i'd post up a few pics of the Ghia wearing its new plates. They have attracted quite abit of attention, obviously moreso from the male species  .
IMO i think they look sweet, suit the car really well. What do you guys think?
Other than that not much has happened. Will hopefully get the headers sorted out in the coming weeks.

Jeff

love the plates there.. i'll be getting myself an old bunker of a ute soon, so i dont have to take my ba ghia to work where it gets covered in s**t and uses to much petrol. So the missus will get the ghia. and i would love to put HER 54L on it. hope u dont think i stole your idea but we have been talkin about other plates like GHIA GAL  i know gay.

Looks great Jeff I'm sure the missus loves it. :)

Only thing I'd change appearance wise is the tailpipes, I think a twin tip like the T3 TE/TS would really set it off nicely, a little more sparkle on the rear. ;)

My TE is going in for a much needed rejuvenation at Protech detailers hopefully in the next couple of weeks, after which it will finally look a million bucks :)

You'll have to show me the 'mont one of these days. :)

Funny you say that Dave. Thats one of the first things i picked on the car was the dirty great exhaust tip, I hate those oval tips!!! . Yes a twin tip is definately on the cards, i was even thinking hidden 45deg tip under the rear bar like T-series.

Yeah, definately. I'll bring it down on a Saturday. Would rather be bringing its engine down on the back of a ute though

Thats a dam nice fairmont. I'm almost jealous as I spent about a month looking for a 6 cylinder one with the same options, but couldn't find one.

They honestly have to be one of the best cars ford has made.

Cheers mate.

If they revised the engine a little bit then i would have to agree that they'd be one of the best cars. I think a 342ci V8 should have been an option ;)

true they are a bit gutless but ford did see the potential in them as they were the base model for the T series. :)

Yeah its got Sat Nav, im guessing it was a fairly expensive option for the series 3 Ghia's.
