Hey all,

I have been a member on here for a while now and have owned a few different falcons. For some reason the gods decided to send me a pressie the other day when my mate bought an 06 WRX. I jokingly said that I should buy Daisy (cars name, dont know why haha) off him. I say jokingly because I don't have a job and I am not on the dole. I had about $30 to my name but run my own business and had a job coming up for about a grand. He said "Yeah you should. I know your situation but I love the car to much to sell it to a stranger so ill hook you up."

When he said this I was expecting to hear "$6000 or $7000" but what he said next nearly made me throw up with excitement. "Umm she needs a few things but $2500 and she is yours, just hook me a grand and pay it off when ya can." I was stunned but lept at the chance and we arranged a day for me to pick her up. Now this is where things got very out of hand for me in a GOOD way :)

He picks me up from mine in the wrx and i begin to tell him what I want to do to Daisy when I have paid it off. The convo went something like this...

Me: Im keen to do a heavy duty clutch, induction mod, short shifter, extractors and exhaust, lower it and buy a flash tuner.

Him: Well I just put an Excedy heavy duty clutch in it, it has an induction kit, it has pace maker 4499's and a full system, a billet short shifter, eibach lowered springs in the front and I have a pair of super lows to throw in with it.

Me: ARE YOU f**k JOKING!!!???

We pull in to the driveway at his and he leads me over to the car and proceeds to say the following...

Him: Yeah i have put dynamat in the front doors and parcel shelf, installed 6 inch speaker mounts and new BA front slotted rotors and calipers with new pads. Oh and the rears are new slotted rotors with new pads.

Me:....ummm

I couldnt believe that this car had so many mods that I wanted and wouldnt be able to afford for ages. Anyway, the convo went on...

Him: I'm real sorry but I took the cd player out for the rex but I got you an alpine for it.

Me: This is ridiculous! haha

He then told me to hop in the passenger seat and said the following...

Him: I have had BA XR6 injectors put in and you should open the glove box...(so i do and nearly pass out) That's a brand new VCT Flash Tuner man and it comes with the car. Its been tuned for E85 and PULP and made 173rwk on the dyno.

I could literally have cried at this point but was trying to stay all manly and not be a wuss haha. He threw me the keys and we signed papers and I drove her home. I was stunned at how well the car went compared to my el manual that made 160rwk and had the biggest smile on my face ever! I have just been enjoying the car and couldnt be happier. Here is a list of current mods...

Current Mods:

Pacemaker 4499 extractors
BA XR6 injectors
Flash Tune
Excedy heavy duty clutch
Full 2.5 inch exhaust
Induction kit
BA slotted rotors and calipers up front
AU slotted rotors in rear
18 inch wheels running 235/40/18 up front and 265/35/18 in the rear
TE50 Front end (will be going back to stock)
Billet short shifter

The car has 220,000k's on the clock :)

Here are some pics of the car how it sits now...Thanks for reading and ENJOY!
