I have decided to go with the diff gears in the 3.9s I can get them supplied and fitted for $900, does that sound like a decent price? Or should I keep looking?

depends on what else is getting done, are the gears new or second hand?
they will definatly change pinion bearing and seal, so while the diff is appart they should change the carrier bearings aswell as a service on the centre... i just got mine done, i supplied the gears, they fitted the gears, reco'd the lsd, fitted new pinion,carrier and axle bearings for $700.. |

Awesome looking AU mate, nice tasteful mods done to it too
 Engine bay is looking great, the polished bits on an i6 engine make all the difference. Keep up the good work!! |

Hmm I'll have to think about it. But In saying that you'd roughly be on 2000rpm at 80kmh right?

Well abit of an update, today i finally got around to putting the polished rocker cover on, it looks mint
as seen in the pics below  but in a negative, i decided to go to liverpool to catch up with the boys as i hadnt been in a while, and on my way i hit a poor dog  it was killed instantly as i was going about 80kmh and had a car right up my a** so i coudnt brake to prevent hitting it damage can be seen below    so i guess i wont be going to the CMS dyno in my car, but i will go and spectate on a positive side, i can now get a new front bar that i have been wanting to get for a while Peace StrawbZ |
