I like the bonnet, Is it very hard to apply? Did you ever end up installing a cam?

It took 2 inexperienced people 2.5 hours to do, it was pretty simple once I learnt how to work with the product.

The cam.. Its still sitting here waiting install, the biggest issue is time and money never line up.

I get the time, then the money is not there, I get the money, the wife sees that needs to be allocated to other things, then what do you know, the money is not there...

It will happen, I just have to kick myself in the a**, get some valve springs, organise myself and make it happen. Crashing a race car and depleating my finances on that venture did not help the AU's cause one bit either,

Good to hear your kicking this in the C*** again.
Did they give you any idea of torque ratings with the new package?

expected output should be somewhere between 400 - 450 lb-ft. Nt a bad result. thats with 40p's and the rpmII manifold, flat tops and scat rotating assembly.
I'm going to get some heads to them soon, as well as sump and girdle. I'll have a talk to pauly about rollers as Troyman seems to think he is onto something there as well.

i remember you mentioning a stroker a few months back, good to see its all coming to life.

speaking of the racecan are you reshelling that or given up? it looked like loads of fun though it was short lived.

Nice, are you getting it built locally or over seas like a few seem to be doing?

Locally Alby, BG Engines at North Richmond are on the job for me.
I looked at quite a few international ones, BG were just as competitive on price, plus being local with a VERY good warranty saw them come up trumps.

Basically, I can call them during regular business hours for a local call, I can drop out any parts they need from me, and worst case scenario, I have an issue, 24 month warranty that can be followed up on locally, not shipping it off to the states to be inspected.

Plus, 6 week build time was fantastic, I did look at fordstrokers, and was actually about to pay my money, the idea of a 5 month build time was really what put me off. I was fully prepared to pay the money plus import duties and what not for the right item, but being able to get it done locally with the same parts from a highly reputable engine shop, I'd be nuts not to spend Australian money in Australia.

Plus being an actual engine shop, everything is done in house, nothing being sent out to be machined, one company from start to finish.

I always prefer to support an Australian company when the product is well warranted and for all intent as good as anything I could buy elsewhere. They are not a new shop, it was great being able to get out there and talk in person, they confidence that he spoke with about the product was great. Plus he was saying 347 windsors are one of the most popular engine combos they sell, they do more Ford stuff than any other badge, so that was also reassuring.
