So after a premature ending to the Green Pig EF XR, it became evident that I needed to aquire another vehicle. So, before he can jump in an steal any thunder, a big thanks to TerroristGhia, Drett, thanks for spotting this one for me.

Now, some pics.

Now, I don't really plan to do a great deal with this car as I don't want to mess with a good thing. so subtle will be the order of the day, just keeping it tidy well maintained. Current family life sort of prevents me from doing much..

Its a Series I AU TE50, sounds good, its nice and clean and tidy.

cheers

Dave

I must say after seeing it tonight and going for a run in it I twas most impressed. Would of been nice to have actually driven it instead of being passenger but Dave........
I cant believe how clean and neat it is. Its bordering on mint. It is an awesome score.
Had a bit of a read about the T1's after you left and I was wrong. The TE got the 200 and the TS got the 220 motor. Yeah you were correct.....................
Interesting point I read but was that there were only something like 104 made in total of T1 TE's. So that makes it one of the rarest Falcon series ever produced.
People say to modify it because its only a series 1 but well people used to rape Phase 3's back in the day because they were only an old V8 Falcon hey.........
In my opinion dont do squat to it that isnt a 100% reversable bolt on thing.
f**k I must be getting old.

looking good mate

and i agree on the modification front to
as dads Cobra is worth less money because it has a worked 351 instead of the stock 351 and non stock battery location and s**t although we bought it like that
but when we bring it to car shows the judges get all snooty because its modified although it does look very clean

I can't see the pics here at work so I will have to wait until tonight to explore the beast's pics.

Just do me ONE favour, DON'T join Ford Forums T series section, they are a little upper class to talk with mere mortals. 8-)

Yeah I know George, I have heard about them..

I was looking at Euro trash, then I woke up to myself. For what I picked this up for, no euro would compare.

Anyone know if series 1 T series were smart sheild or smart lock? Got no working remotes :x and Smart lock remotes were supplied but I cannot get it to function with the car, and it appears to have a smart sheild key with it.

Maybe I need to PM you George, and you can tell me what it had from the VIN,

Send me the VIN anyway :D The TE/TS/TL models had different cutoffs sometimes.
Ash was right, people usually call the 6/99 model onwards a series 1.5 :D

Just had a look, 10/99 build. I have PM'd you the vin# George. As mentioned, it came with Smartlock remotes that are dead, I have a smart lock remote from the EF, so I have to try setting that up. I have read about adding smart sheild remotes to AU and smart lock remotes to E series, How do I add Smartlock remotes to AU if that is in fact the remote it was intended to have with it?
