Oh yeah need to get the lokka as well................... Is that the one that goes across the diff it self, from one side to the other? Should have one on the ED diff, I'll check tomorrow and let ya know.

I could just go to pick and scab but if you have one its an excuse to bring the Mav for a run and drink more of Rach's coffee!

Got the brake line out for ya, caliper to caliper including tee piece on top of the diff. We may be out at the hospital when/if you come over, it will be sitting on the driveway in front of the EB for you if that is the case.
Cheers RD

Well got a couple of things done yesterday afternoon and today.
Dont need this bit ![]() This bit sucks a*** as well ![]() Engine bay 30 seconds after motor come out. I dont think it had ever been degreased at all in its 17 years. ![]() After a bit of a hit with some Kenco Shift It and Kaptain Karcher. ![]() Still not clean but at least I can work in there without coming out looking like Karmal. Will be given a real good scrub up once all the dummy fits of the motor are done and everything is sorted prior to painting. s**t.Will I ever get it back together? ![]() The clevo is just about ready to come out of the grey ute. Hopefully depending on what time I get home tomorrow afternoon I might be able to get it out and put it on the stand to do a couple of things and have room to chuck the old 4.1 in the grey ute to get it out from under my feet. Progress at last!

Motor come out of grey ute this afternoon and I put it straight on the stand so I had some room to move around.
Decided to remove the sump for a look see and to replace the oil pump as everyone knows Clevo oil pumps are s**t. Wound up with a burning question. EXCUSE ME SIR WHERE ARE MY OTHER 49 CUBES??????????????????? Yeah talk about bad luck. I swear if I feel into a barrel of tits I would come up sucking my thumb. Yes the number that make baby Jeus cry were right in front of me. 302. All good seeing as though after some wheeling and dealing the grey ute owes me nothing I really cant complain. Picked up a standard grind 351 crank and rods set this evening so all is good. I will button the motor back up , get it in running , sorted out and engineered then come home , pull it back out and build a good motor for it. I dont want to build a new motor and risk damaging it if the gas system or cooling system isnt right. Get all the little bugs sorted out. Plus it wont look the best if I rock up for engineering with a nice grumpy motor fitted................. So now I have to do some research and work out which way I will be heading with the new motor when its built. Do I go a standard rod 351 or use the 6" rods? I have both lots of bits here to do either. Oh well time to do some research.............................

go the 6'' rod motor, mates motor is happy as its fairly mild but with twin tunnel ram and makes just over 300rwhp and will sit on 6200rpm all day while on the burnout pad in top gear

{USERNAME} wrote: I can see those baby Jesus tears now. I too have had those tears. What a f**k bummer!! Good thing you checked though. Better to find out now than after all the work was complete. Quick easy score with the new crank and rods. Good buy? Yeah I reckon it was an ok buy. Not a bargain by any means but definately fair. Set of 8 standard size rods and a standard grind 351 crank for 2 hunj. Have not checked if its a 4MA or 4MAB yet as I didnt think of it. It had the right numbers on it and was a pretty good price and was only 10 mins from home. Wont need it for a bit but its good to have. Will be getting it balanced , nitrided and te rods will be peened with ARP bolts fitted. Definately not a 10 grand crank but will do this little black duck. This is the car to go to and from work in remember.....................LOL
