It mostly Depends on where they put you, it sorta goes like this:

Register: EASY AS f**k!!

Shelf packer: Pretty average (can get hard)

Nighfill: HARD, dont do it

Deli: Chicks only

Produce: Easily the best department to be in

Meat: dunno

Bakery: sucks a**

Perishables (frozen and milk/cheese): Too cold and the work is hard

So if u land a job in Produce or front end, go for it

F%^& you Southy

I used to work in the Fresh Produce Dept. at a Coles store, wasn't too bad, but its usually flat out in that area. I never had it easy in ther cause i used to work 1pm till midnight on sat, and unpacked 14 pallets of fruit and veg. That sucked a**.
Then i was one of the girls and worked in the Deli! Only option apart from finding work elsewhere.
Trust me, the deli isn't that bad, good food for free
Great chicks to pick up!!! Not that bad of an area to be in....

Ever thought of doing security work.. like guards or patrols? Guard work is easy work most of the time and it pays well. Not sure what licensing conditions are in your state but are not too bad here in SA and thanks to crims.. keep us in work
