I am after an EF intermediate shaft that runs from the rack to the column.
Must be from an EF.

I'm wrecking an EL, assuming that this particular item is the same EF - EL?

You would think so wouldnt you, but no EF is unique. EL has a longer pinion so the shaft is smaller to suit. EA-ED have a course spline on the pinion where EF and EL are fine. However I now have one from a wrecker its damaged but should be OK for the EA.

Does it have the uni joint at both ends? If so how much are you after?

its got a uni joint at the end that fits to the rack.

why would it have two uni joints? Its definatly from a EF because i saw the car it came from

the end that connects to the colum has a fine spline on it :?

Pulled the shaft off yesterday and the top uni is part of the column not the intermediate shaft. Turns out the rack is OK and recently serviced going by the oil. The play in the steering was the rack bolts being loose and play in both uni's. Out came the steering column and a quick tighten on the uni's and all is good now...
