As the title states I am chasing an L20b motor (preferably) but at this stage will settle for any L-Series motor. Don't need starter motor, alternator, carby etc just the long motor. Really need something to get the old Dato shooting rig up and running so I can fix the XH up a bit.
I know this ain't a Datsun/Nissan site but a lot of guys on here are like me-Hoarders of anything automotive
Am prepared to travel to Adelaide or western Victoria for the right price

i have an L18 that *was* running (well, no smoke etc), but been under a tarp for a few years under some trees, so unsure of condition. its at my parents place which is est "Travel 270.73 km, Est. Time 3 hours 17 mins" (whereis) from bordertown (heywood). if you travel around a bit or something we could organise something?

Thanks Mikgan but a 1200 will be a bit small for running down roos and deer not to mention hauling a tonne of firewood
As for U-Pull it Blackjack, they're 300ks away from me anyway and everyone I've known to buy engines from them has been ripped cos you can't hear them running. Theres also no telling wot someone has done to them while they're in the yard there

Thanks Blackjack. Doesn't need to be perfect and don't need the bolt on s**t just the motor itself as the sump, pickup and carby are all different from the car to the ute. 8-)
