Anyone know a Towie who can move a car from Hinchinbrook to Parramatta for a reasonable price? I've been getting lots of $140-$150 quotes.. i think its a bit pricey. Maybe not?

*someone* has to have a contact :D

bummer hey.

ive seen cars towed from dural to parramatta (25-30km) for $80. Liverpool to Parra is the same distance. oh well

Car trailer is ~$70-80 for 4 hours. Plus fuel, plus the risk of something going wrong. I think i'll just have to pay the towies :)

Yeah the tow truck operators are quite often in contact with the police and have scanners and the like. It is a help though, as the danger gets shifted off the road so the cops wont mind. As for prices, i wouldnt pay anymore then about 25 dollars for a car trailer for 24 hours. Its not hard to do it yourself, just take your time and make sure the car is secured properly. Also, make sure you have decent ramps. We used our go kart ramps to stick my brothers commodore in a car trailer (doesnt that tel you something  ) and almost went through them. Made some damn creaky noises.

its funny how tow truck have better responce time that emergency services, seeing they can't break any law to get to the accident quicker  as opposed to the emergancy services exemptions
