Hi everyone had the misfortune of blowing the head on my engine the other day which resulted in coolant entirely through the motor and out the exhaust.

Anyway I'm looking for an engine (need immediately).

I'm looking for a motor that's been reco'd not more than 40K's old preferably
PM me with a price -

I'm in the Eastern Subs of Melbourne so people in melbourne only thanks.

Peter

Have you thought about putting an AU engine there?

lots of them around, not too much $$. The induction on an AU will come to the right place, should be able to run the MPI computer if you have it

If you dont, you should be able to adapt an EA/EB CFI inlet manifold to the webber carb.

Use an E-Series auto bellhousing for an auto trans (EA1), or an EA-AU 5 speed bellhousing if its manual, and you should be mostly right.

anyway - that was a thought.

Sounds like an interesting project but the problem is that I'm meant to be taking the family up to Wollongong (like today) and have to try and get the car back on the road asap.

Thanks

Sure - but no matter what this is going to take a little bit of time.

Id either hire one of those "rent a wrecks" (and prolly cheaper on fuel) or buy a cheap hack car you can sell afterward...

This is all true but if I can find a engine today I should be able to have it up and running by late tomorrow!
And money is a bit tight (bit like the US economy).

I'm actually going to look at a ZL fairlane (which is what I already have) .... just isn't on gas and doesn't have the 5 speed manual setup that I've put in.

Thanks for your comments though.
