As the title suggests, I am chasing a towbar for the wagon.
Prefer Newcastle, but I am travelling to Sydney today (12/02/10) if anybody has one they want to part with. I could be at Liverpool between 6-6:30 to pick up if any of you regulars happen to have one  . BTW, what time does pick'n'payless close on a Friday?
Cheers,
Mick

Thanks Troy,
Leaving newie at 3:30 this arvo, so might be too late.

Just rang our local ISP Trailer Shop and they can supply and fit a new one for $299. Might be the way to go. I was trying to get one so that I could tow the trailer tomorrow, but that's looking highly unlikely :(

Ah well, worth a try.

Thanks anyway mate. I'm hoping to get one either today from Sydney or tomorrow from Newcastle. Otherwise I'll just book it into ISP and get a new one. $299 new is pretty cheap.
I don't want much Eh!

The reason I need it urgently, is I have planned to use the trailer tomorrow. I have been waiting now for 2 1/2 months for one to be fitted to my new work truck. I paid for it last December when I had other work done to it, and they ordered in the wrong towbar.
Then with the xmas break and an apparent influx of work for the fitting company, they are just giving me the run around. I was meant to have it fitted Wednesday, but the mongrel rang me Tuesday arvo and told me he is still having trouble getting the right one for the new MN Triton. This is after I spoke to him last Friday and he said it was on the truck being delivered to them by Tuesday at the latest.
f**k TJM 4WD at Wallsend....avoid the pricks like the plague. Not a happy customer

I would sell you mine for $50 but I don't have time to pull it off today. I also am not sure what access i need to get it off. I work with people who travel up to newcastle often but only on Fridays after lunch!

Good luck with it!

TJM have really lost the plot lately.
The local store down here was pretty good and the blokes running it were awesome.
TJM had a shakeup and changed a lot of stuff around and flicked the two blokes at the local.
Now the store is rubbish and the two blokes running the show resemble tits on a bull.

That about sums it up Matt. The current Manager at Wallsend's attitude to the whole thing sucks. Not to mention, that when they did the spray on tub liner, they managed to put a ding in the tailgate that crached the paint in 3 places.......it was only 1 week old, and they tried to say it was there when they took possession. s**t! They agreedto have it repaired while it was in getting the towbar done, which is why I just can't get somebody else to do it and ask for a refund.
Mongrel has me over a barrell!

They are most likely f**k you around so they can forget about the dint in the tailgate and when you pull them up on it say its a work car you most likely have done it in the last couple of months.
