Hi all,

Chasing the SVO digital cluster, doesn't worry me if it's buggered or not as i just want the gauge panels from it with the SVO insignia. From memory the SVO clusters haven't got anything special in them apart from the label so i take it i can just swap it into my current cluster.

Cheers.

No, i don't.

Not too many around over here, there was an NA SVO on Trademe a while back, the only other SVO's kicking around are the EF/L SVO Hercules.

Because i like the look of it, and it's different.

umm. no. it's not an SVO. it's just a standard cluster with a SVO sign

XFWAGON, what he's saying is....... all you need to do is spray the bottom half of ya wagon primer grey colour, add some dated svo wheels, then your rig will be "worthy" of an almighty pretigous SVO dash cluster and you will become immortal and may even be able to throw a sonic boom

Exactly, a cluster with the SVO sign, therefore it's different than the standard look cluster (not mechanically, but looks different) If you read the ad, i want the panel with the label on it, not the whole thing.

Do i need your permission of what i put in my car?

That sounds like the plan!!

In all seriousness, sticking a small part of the cluster that has SVO stamped on it into my non svo car, is not an issue.

So WildEB, you would never stick anything out of a Fairmont, Fairmont Ghia, Fairlane, Fairlane Ghia or LTD into a lowly Falcon?

"You can't put those leather seats into that Falcon, it's not an LTD!"

I can put whatever the hell i want in, i could have a giant pink d*ldo as a shift knob if i felt the need.

An SVO is not a factory vehicle, it didn't come from Ford like that. An SVO is only an SVO because it's got Mick Webbs signature associated with the "mods".

Just because i want the dash cluster, doesn't mean i think it's an SVO.
