now days the au engines are cheaper than the e series one,
macurthur parts plus are selling au engines for $350 where ford pro want $800 for a ef/el engine with 200,000kms on it,lol.. there are el engines around but its getting really hard to find one with low kms.. |

im from vic so u prob wouldnt be interested but ive got a 4.0 i6 EL motor here with 72,000km on it....and yes I can prove it....bought it from fowles auctions....I used to go there a fair bit and when I saw this car I had to have it as ive never seen one with such low kays...e series's with less than 200 are starting to get rare...

Pick and Payless. I called a few months ago, Low Km Motor is around $500 with 3 months warranty, gearbox is $300 if I remember right.

Ford Pro are becoming greedy lately. They used to be good but now ive noticed they seem to pull prices out of their a*** when you ring them and a lot of the times ive called i have found parts ive wanted much cheaper else where. They have most parts you need but are too expensive.
