How'd,

I've pulled an EEC-IV from an EB that I'm planning to put into a XF Falcon which will be converted to EFI at the same time.

Following the EB II pinout diagram from a Haynes manual everything seems to match up except I have additional wires running to pins 6, 24 and 41 & 49.

Pin 6 is a yellow wire going to a connector the same as the injectors and has a Black/White wire also.

Pin 24 (White/Green) and Pin 41 (White/Light Blue) go to a 4-pin connector which has a wire cut already.

Pin 49 (Grey/Light Blue) goes via the connector for the EFI and has a circular way like a earth to the body.

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers

Fraser

How'd,

Pins 6, 24, 41 & 49.

My ECU diagram has no wires on these pins so I'm lost and have no idea where they go other than they are all from under the hood.

Cheers

Pin 6 is a yellow wire going to a connector the same as the injectors and has a Black/White wire also. - connection 735 Yellow = EB power steering switch [or without pwr steering is just a link] with the other wire being connection 359 Black/White at pin 46.

Pin 24 (White/Green) and Pin 41 (White/Light Blue) go to a 4-pin connector which has a wire cut already. - nothing seems to show up re EB2, but re EB it shows - 24 = connection 189 and 41 = connection 264 are for the Centre Point Fuel Injection idle speed controller also known as CPFI do not confuse with MPFI [multi point fuel injection] as it has only two injectors in what looks like a carby.

Pin 49 (Grey/Light Blue) goes via the connector for the EFI and has a circular way like a earth to the body. - connection 89 is for the HEGO earth

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers

Thanks, looks like I might have a EB not a EB II wiring harness.

Cheers
