I have the exact same problem...

Replaced the ECU, headlights no longer turn on...all the electrics work, however, turn the key and no starter :(

EDIT: I was wrong, same as before. ECU appears to be fine.

i have just replaced the ECU and the BEM. And problem remains.

Further more, the windscreen wipers dont work and the " power " on the cluster wont turn off.

i was thinking maybe a few wires have melted together.

where should i start ??

If its an early EB it will have a multi relay box, if its a later EB it will have a BEM plus a seperate Smartlock box, both under the dash above the left knee. Ensure both of these have been replaced.

b4 replacing electronics check the fuse panel in dash for voltage

most electronic equipment "SHOULD" have reverse polarity protection

if none with ign on check "fusible links" off battery +ve terminal

I did this, had me stuffed for a while, the middle fuse, 100 amp i htink, was blown, you have to screw it out, it had 2 10mm bolts holding it in, everything fine then.

Ted,

I saw the same Post, a Mod might have deleted it, as the Poster may not have realized this was not a US site.
