Hey guys, I noticed my drive belt was sitting a few mm off my water pump pulley, I replaced my harmonic balancer thinking that it was causing it to be misaligned however after replacing it, the belt still doesnt sit right. Any one have any ideas? :?:

it does look a few mil out, have you removed the belt and checked for any play in the idelers or other pulleys?

Make sure the tensioners you're using don't have a gap ( > roughly 1 mm or so) between the fixed part and the movable part - some have a tendency over time to separate, causing the belt to misalign.

yes as snap0964 says, check the tensioner. the idler pulleys may seem fine but the pivot point wears causing the belt to be misaligned. it happened to me on my el futura,
cheers, shaddoweaver :)
