redback vs stock exhaust + who has a Lukey system?

hehe nah dude not sound system thats a hell of alot louder regardless of revs :P......yeh i didnt think mine would be over 90db surprised me :P/

i reckon 90% ppl with aftermarket exhausts are over 90db .. its just too low.. should be about 92db or so

yeh thats it every p plater u see drive past or modified cars espescially all the jap specs with cannons all hoon past and ya can hear the droney exhausts....just sucks none get pinged and im trying to do the right thing by the law and its costin me a s**t load to get this all changed and certified for the engineer ontop of the $600 certificate from him...

hey i put a 2.5" redback exhaust cat back on my ford falcon 4.0, 6 banger futura wagon mine has a resignator not the hotdog i like the cruizin sound not to loud when u give it some it responds with a nice grunt sound solid pipe and good sound at the press of the throttle :D hope that helps your discission

i heard that the STR2111 tail pipe (redback) is obsolete.. does anyone know the new part no for the redbacks (if they have one)?

In fully made off shelf systems I'm not aware of any. You can always have a bender make you the piping and use any brand muffler you like.

Yeah, they are, Lukeys sound the s**t! Redbacks sounds great to, but I dunno, just not as nice. There's an EF Fairmont wagon getting around here with a Redback sound nice, but nothing like mine. But then the noise also depends on many other things.
I've just had good experience with lukey all along, from my xc with a 302, to the valiant with a 265 hemi 6, and the ef, they all have just sounded awsome.
