I am working on a car PC installation and was thinking of mounting a PC Blueray or DVD drive in the dash. Is anyone running a DVD or Blueray drive in a car, I am wondering if the vibration and jolting has an effect on them as far as play back is concerned.

laptop one will be better but not 100% skip free (you can also damage them over a hard enough bump)

Thats what I was thinking as I don't have issues using the laptop to play DVD's during a trip anyway. The bad point is they don't mount as easily into the dash and Blueraqy might be a bit pricey in that form.
