On FM mach 1 i was taking bout me new stereo, and i installed it the other weekend.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who gave me a hand with research.

I ended up putting the switch in the trigger wire, turning the sub and off.

But my most proud innovation ( ) is a set of RCA plugs in the speaker wire from the amp to the sub. I drilled 9mm holes in the panel covering the top of the strut towers in the rear of the car. Hand screw the female end into the panel and connect it.

Now when i want the sub out, i just unplug it from the wall, and there are no wires hanging around, nothing to get caught on anything, and looks really neat. Will post pics very soon.
