HELP ME PLEZ!!!!!
having troubles with this stupid smart lock invention?? just about to re-rego my baby and it goes and pulls this SMART LOCK stunt  , i have a 92 eb fairlane, my lil bro went out there the other day and "attempted" to upgrade her sound system, went out there the next day and tryed to start her and she will wind over but just wont kick in!!!! been told its my smart lock??? everything else is working in my car but she just wont kick ova!!! please can anyone give me a little light on the situation? cheerz!!!!!

Easy fix. Its a blown CRT-LMP fuse, just replace that and it will be good as new. Happens to every box car at one stage or another.

already checked that fuse its a 10 amp and its ok

i had same prob when i put stereo in ,there are 2 wires for elimination of stereo ,i didnt connect 1 and same prob then reconnected wire and car started

the colour wire on mine is green with yellow stripe ,there are 2 ,i used both as my memory for stereo

leave it for half an hour with the ignition on the ON position... that might make it start.

happened to a mate of mine, there is 2 green with a yellow trace wires behind the radio, 1 is your constant power (i think) and the other is the power for the smart lock, join them together and it will start

i was with the understanding smartlock didnt come out till 93 as i have a 92 eb no smart lock

i have a 93 NCII non smartlock aswell. there was a period where they built NCII's before smartlock was released... unfortunately we own them...
as for the main question. to get you past RWC stick a EA MPI computer in it (non smartlock) that way it will run. then when you get your RWC you can spend some time working it out |
