Heard it on the grape vine through a reliable source that FORDMODS has a sponsorship deal with a well know Ford V8 Supercar team, due to tight lipped secrecy the name of the team could not be revealed. It is however the logo will be a very prominant one and will be situated on the rear quarter panel. FORDMODS do have a one year deal with the option of a further 3 and will commence its advertising Round 1 March 2009 at SA for the Clipsal 500. Sorry guys to ruin the surprise

**** UPDATE ****
I have just got a phone call from my reliable source and he tells me his seen part of the contract that was drawn up to seal the sponsorship deal and apparently there is a clause in there that states,
3:12c.. FORDMODS under the new sponsorship deal with the above client must in some other form other than internet promote or advertise their company.
3.12d.. FORDMODS have 90days from the signed date of this contract to forefill clause 3.12c

Now FORDMODS reply was that they are going to have there own TV production and it will be aired on channel 31, the basis of the program will be going around to members residents and interviewing them on their cars, also it will include workshop tips for popular mods and also will have reports on cruises, products, parts and even tips from Aurora 98, now this is the BIG STORY it is understood that FORDMODS is currently filming the progress of Benj wagon build and started from day 1 which will be the first story when the program premiers.
Goodluck guys and sorry for the spoiler

Cant wait for you to tell me that i was right

I dont dislike it... i feel it will be like the new facebook. People will be angry with the change initially but will come to realise its heaps better than the original. Im already happy cause when i signed in the first picture from the members gallery was of my rims! haha

I know, given the site isnt even mean to be active yet, that i may be asking the question too soon, but will there be a list of changes and new things to play with?

It's very clean, I'm worried about leaving greasy fingerprints all over the place.
Looks good and loads a hell of a lot quicker.
